Best Dance Studio in the Sutherland Shire

AP Performers has been operating since 2002. Located in Taren Point, we pride ourselves on creating a family atmosphere for our students, a home away from home.

Lead by Alecia & Sandra Picken, a mother & daughter team, we have built a strong family business driven by our love and passion for dance and all it is about.

AP caters for all students from 2 years old to adults. We have a wide range of classes catering for all genres and abilities, whether it is for fun or for a more serious approach our aim is to bring out the very best in our students.

Individuality is very important to every dancer and ap helps to find the hidden talent in your dancer.

AP students are encouraged to explore all areas of dance, helping them to be the best all round performer they can be. We want our students to stand out and be ready for anything the dance world may bring them.

Why AP Performers

AP has been operating successfully for 20 years. Over this time we have had many great and memorable achievements.

Each year we consistently achieve fantastic results in both our ballet exams and our competition teams. Our performance teams work hard to create dances representing all styles and every year are always rewarded highly in eisteddfods across Sydney.

Our students are versatile & trained in all styles helping them to be the best all round performer they can be. Over the years we have had students win trips overseas to represent Australia in dance, others have been successful in auditioning for musicals, stage shows & dream dance company.

We have had students be invited to dance at very special charity events helping to rasie money for important causes. Others who have danced in film clips and some have also had the opportunity to dance on tv; or who are now leading professionals in the dance world today including Paris Cavanagh, Stephen Tannos and Jessica Hesketh.

One of our current students was even crowned Miss World Dance in New York City which is a huge achievement.

I used to dance there when I was there it was like one big family of friends and it was awesome I miss those days my I was still at school those days what great memories were made for me when I was there it's what made me a party animal I still am even now I'm 33 years old alecia is a awesome girl she has a great attitude on every level I considered her my sister and chop as my brother I miss them immensely I will definitely have to catch up with the crew at some time I really miss the good times and working hard on our routines and eistedfod work it was always a goal to reach and a satisfying feeling if accomplishment knowing we always did well and excelled at what we all do best dance dance dance oh yeah damn straight that's how we like yep if you work hard play hard you get rewarded by your achievements that's why dancing with AP all Star Performers was the simply the best place to reach your full potential and it's true practice makes perfect keep up the great work guys and gales this is how we roll my name used to be Jeremy but my name is vuthy dy vathna so guys if you give it your all you will succeed always try your best and give it always your 100 % best and see how much you self accomplishment you feel by the end of your dancing careers
